Picture frame structure for 12 photos

Materials needed:
12 wooden frames (5" x 7") - these were Nyttja from Ikea, they come in white or black
wood screws
a set square
a small electric drill


Align the frames like shown, in sets of 3 frames, making sure that they are at a right angle.
We will be making 4 sets of 3 frames each - 2 sets following the pattern below (landscape - portrait - landscape)
and two other sets following a portrait - landscape - portrait pattern.

The wood screws we used were 12 mm.


Drill 2 holes on either side of the middle frame.
Don't drill all the way through - only halfway - this minimizes the risk of the wood frame cracking.



Tighten the screws by hand to fix the frames together.


Make 2 sets following this pattern: landscape - portrait - landscape

and the 2 other sets following this pattern: portrait - landscape - portrait
Place the 4 sets as shown in the picture below.

Using the same method as before, attach the 4 sets to each other (drill and screw together), as shown in the pictures below.
