Lacy flower belt
Start with a circle of fabric. Fuse with interfacing to make sturdy enough to hold the flower.
Pin lace in place around the circle, gathering as necessary.
Stitch in place (sewing through all layers of fabric)
Continue with a second row of lace inside.
Cut out 4 flower shapes
Fold flower shape in half
And fold in half again.
Place 4 folded flower shapes in the middle of the flower
Stitch in place, sewing through all layers of fabric (and lace).
Cover a button with coordinating fabric. Stitch in place.
Add a loop at the back of the flower to thread the belt through.
