Materials needed:
12 wooden frames (5″ x 7″) – these were Nyttja from IKEA, they come in white and black
wood screws
a set square
a small electric drill

Align the frames like shown, in sets of 3 frames, making sure that they are at a right angle.
We will be making 4 sets of 3 frames each – 2 sets following the pattern below (landscape – portrait – landscape) and two other sets following a portrait – landscape – portrait pattern.

The wood screws we used were 12 mm

Drill 2 holes on either side of the middle frame.
Don’t drill all the way through - only halfway – this minimizes the risk of the wood frame cracking.

Tighten the screws by hand to fix the frames together.

Make 2 sets following this pattern: landscape – portrait – landscape

and the 2 other sets following this pattern: portrait – landscape – portrait
Place the 4 sets as shown in the picture below.

Using the same method as before, attach the 4 sets to each other (drill and screw together), as shown in the pictures below.
